It's Sunday and time to tell you what I've experienced during this week.

In general, I enjoy going to school. The people are friendly and I like mostly all of the subjects. I have to admit that the lessons are very organized

and after the 60min have passed by, I leave the room with a fried head. I prefer that in the UK the teachers are stricter and you have to treat them respectfully. I think that at my school in Switzerland some teachers aren't able to control the class and some students don't obey the teachers as well as they should... Ok, I think the disadvantage is that here they don't give you any freedom and sometimes you feel a bit as if you are back at primary school;)

I've already written a maths exam, a few maths assignments and had to hand in a looot (every week 2/3) of essays. But I passed all of them successfully. You also have to do your homework which is collected and evaluated by the teachers. At the beginning I was a bit overwhelmed but now I have the overview and am able to cope with the amount of it.

On Friday, some of the exchange students and I finally managed to meet each other. We decided to go to a Chinese restaurant. The food was delicious and most important: All inclusive!! It also had a chocolate fountain!! Mhhh-I felt in heaven! The atmosphere was great and we had a lovely and funny evening!!

On Saturday, my Host family was invited to a Baptism and Birthday party. (It was combined.) It was a really interesting experience for me as I've got to know the African culture. I was the only European person but I forgot this fact soon when I started to dance to the African music and talked with the really warm-hearted and open people . Again - not just the taste of the food also the amount was incredible!! I ate far too much of the main course but topped it up with some slices of cake.

On Sunday, I stayed at home because it rained and I had to do some homework. I also cleaned up my room because the week left its mark...:)

We ate a delicious Sunday roast and watched (like always) the X-factor.

Just 6 more days of school are remaining till the holidays begin!:)

Yeeessss!!

Have a lovely evening!

Evelyn X

PS: I know - most of my blog posts contain information about food-sry you have to get used to it!:))
